Westfield, Massachusetts— Tighe & Bond, an engineering, design, planning, and environmental consulting firm in the Northeast, announced that it has acquired Geosphere Environmental Management, Inc., a New Hampshire-based firm specializing in hydrogeology and environmental services.
The acquisition strengthens Tighe & Bond’s Water Business Line, expanding its capacity to deliver comprehensive engineering and environmental solutions across the region. Geosphere brings a strong reputation for expertise in groundwater, geothermal, and environmental science, serving a broad range of clients including municipalities, utilities, and private-sector organizations.
Having collaborated successfully on previous projects, the two firms share a mission focused on developing an economically feasible and environmentally responsible built environment. Geosphere’s capabilities in water supply development, groundwater discharge, and geothermal systems will enhance Tighe & Bond’s existing services in drinking water, stormwater, wastewater, geotechnical engineering, dam safety, and ecological restoration.

As part of the transition, the Geosphere team will be based out of Tighe & Bond’s Portsmouth, New Hampshire office, positioning the firm for continued growth and enhanced regional service delivery.
