BOSTON— A new immersive entertainment venue has arrived in the heart of Back Bay. Swingers Back Bay officially opens to the public today at 777 Boylston Street, introducing its signature blend of “crazy golf,” retro carnival games, elevated comfort food and craft cocktails to Boston.

The global hospitality brand’s newest location spans two floors and is designed as a theatrical social playground, complete with two custom-built crazy golf courses, the Swingers Carnival arcade and food from Brooklyn-founded Emmy Squared Pizza.

“We’re incredibly proud to open our doors in the Back Bay and to become part of the Boston community,” said Jeremy Simmonds, CEO of Swingers. “From the start, we’ve felt such a warm welcome, and we’re truly grateful to now call this neighborhood home. We built Swingers as a place for people to play, gather, celebrate, and have fun together and we hope Boston loves it as much as we do.”

A Playful Take on Mini Golf

At the center of the venue are two distinct crazy golf courses, each featuring its own layout and design. Guests will encounter moving installations such as windmills, waterwheels and carousels, along with jumps and loops intended to challenge players of all skill levels. The courses are custom-created to deliver a visually dynamic and interactive experience.

Retro Arcade With Prizes

The Swingers Carnival offers 30 minutes of unlimited gameplay on a lineup of old-school arcade favorites. Players earn tickets that can be redeemed for chances at claw machines stocked with prizes, including the venue’s signature teddy bear and mystery boxes.

Detroit-Style Pizza Debuts in Boston

Through its partnership with Emmy Squared Pizza, Swingers Back Bay marks the first time the Detroit-style concept has brought its menu to Boston. Known for its frico-crusted square pies and award-winning burgers, Emmy Squared will serve signature items such as the Founders pizza with ezzo pepperoni, pickled jalapeños and honey, and the Le Big Matt Burger made with grass-fed beef, American cheese, Sammy sauce, greens and pickles on a pretzel bun.

Cocktails, DJs and Event Space

The venue’s beverage program features a comprehensive in-house cocktail menu, including a “Back Bay Crafted” section highlighting ingredients sourced from local vendors. Two grand bars anchor the space, complemented by lounge areas such as the Clubhouse and the Greenhouse. DJs will spin curated playlists nightly.

Swingers Back Bay is also designed to host private and corporate events for up to 500 guests. Event options range from semi-private bookings to full buyouts of the two-floor venue, with dedicated sales support to tailor experiences around golf, carnival games and dining.

A round of crazy golf and 30 minutes of unlimited carnival play starts at $25 per person and can be booked online, with a limited number of walk-up tickets available daily. Beginning March 3, ticket packages that include food and drink credit and reserved seating will also be offered online.

Swingers Back Bay is open weekdays from 3 p.m. until late and opens at 11:30 a.m. on weekends.
