Boston–Suffolk has appointed Kevin Quigley as its new Executive Vice President for Enterprise Strategy, the company announced Monday.

Quigley, a seasoned strategist with extensive experience advising global biotech, pharmaceutical, and technology companies, will oversee the execution of Suffolk’s strategic plan and help advance key growth initiatives. His appointment comes as the Boston-based builder continues to expand its national presence and secure complex projects across the aviation, healthcare, life sciences, higher education, K-12, data center, and advanced manufacturing sectors.

Strategic Leadership to Support National Growth

“At Suffolk, we are relentlessly focused on transforming the future of our industry through strategic thinking and innovation,” said John Fish, Chairman and CEO of Suffolk. “Kevin’s ability to navigate high-stakes environments and drive operational excellence will be a tremendous asset to our teams as our organization continues to grow.”

As Executive Vice President for Enterprise Strategy, Quigley will work closely with Suffolk’s executive leadership, regional teams, and functional groups to strengthen the company’s integrated platform and enhance its long-term competitiveness. His focus areas will include the continued growth of Suffolk Design, Suffolk Technologies, and Suffolk Sustainability—three divisions central to the firm’s vision of a seamless, technology-driven approach to the full building lifecycle.

A Background at the Intersection of Law, Innovation, and Business

Before joining Suffolk, Quigley spent more than a decade at Choate, Hall & Stewart LLP, where he served as a Principal in the Litigation Department and trusted advisor to top life sciences and technology companies. His work included guiding clients through intellectual property and complex commercial litigation, while aligning legal strategy with broader business objectives.

Quigley’s career also includes high-profile advisory roles within the pharmaceutical sector. He served as counsel to Eli Lilly and Company’s Genetic Medicines business and as acting Head of Legal for Akouos, Inc., a Lilly subsidiary developing clinical-stage gene therapies. In that role, he worked closely with the CEO and senior leadership to manage global patents, navigate product development from R&D through launch, and oversee Akouos’s integration into Lilly.

Notably, Quigley’s professional journey began with a legal internship at Suffolk, marking a full-circle moment as he returns to the company in a senior executive capacity.
