She focuses on both seller and buyer-sided acquisitions and landlord and tenant leasing, which provides her a unique perspective to provide curated strategies for her clients. Choudhury collaborates with her clients to navigate these various transactions and offer practical legal, strategic, and operational solutions. Choudhury’s main clients at Seyfarth are real estate investment trusts (REITs) focused on the industrial and warehouse space, in particular a Boston-based REIT backed by Bain Capital Real Estate representing over USD $1.8 billion in total transactions with a focus on infill properties. The pandemic has not slowed down her practice, but instead has fueled unprecedented growth for her industrial clientele. Recent transactions in Choudhury’s portfolio over the past year include acquisitions over USD $80 million for the aforementioned Boston industrial REIT across the East Coast. Prior to Seyfarth, Choudhury worked on the One Dalton project in Boston at another Boston international law firm and was honored with the CREW Boston Networking Award in 2018 alongside several key women involved with the project.
Prior to joining Seyfarth, Choudhury served as counsel for a major life science REIT and several life science and technology companies, handling various leases and acquisitions in the life science and office space.
