MIDLAND, Mich. — Case Systems has unveiled five new additions to its SALTO® furniture line, expanding options for Maker and Career & Technical Education (CTE) learning environments.
The new products are designed to meet rising demand for flexible, durable furnishings in hands-on classrooms where layouts must adapt quickly to changing curriculum needs. Launched in 2024, SALTO® was created to help schools “Flip Your Space” with mobile, modular furniture that allows classrooms to transition between configurations in seconds.
“Maker and CTE spaces are showing up in more project designs than ever. Educators need furniture that’s purpose-built for that environment,” said Kelly Wehner, President of Case Systems. “These additions were developed by listening to what teachers and students need. Every product gives schools more configurations, more flexibility, and a stronger foundation for hands-on learning.”
Five New Additions
The expansion introduces five key product categories:
Maker Table with Uprights
A new workstation configuration featuring short double-bay uprights with pegboard storage, a personal magnetic markerboard, and a monitor mount connector. Available with butcher block or high-pressure laminate tops, the table keeps tools and technology within reach while maintaining clear sightlines for teachers.
Maker Cart with Uprights + 30-Inch Depth
An upright-equipped mobile cart with pegboard storage joins the existing 3D printer cart in the lineup. Both carts are now available in a deeper 30-inch version to accommodate larger printers, tools, and equipment while aligning with standard countertop depths.
Maker Centers with Doors
New enclosed-door Maker Centers provide secure storage for equipment and daily-use supplies, offering educators additional flexibility in organizing classroom materials.
30-Inch Deep Mobile Storage (120 & 220 Series)
The popular 120 and 220 Series mobile storage cabinets are now available in a 30-inch depth, designed to support larger fabrication tools such as 3D printers and CNC machines.
Expanded Wall Mount Panel System
The wall-mount panel system grows with 12 new configurations, enhancing modular flexibility and allowing educators to customize storage and organization solutions to specific classroom needs.
