Washington, DC – Shawn L. Neville, FACHCA, Chief Operating Officer at SALMON Health and Retirement, recently advanced to Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators. The Fellow distinction is the highest membership status one can gain in recognition of professional achievement and continuous adherence to the ethical and professional standards of ACHCA.

“ACHCA congratulates Shawn on earning the professional credential, Fellow. He is now authorized to use “FACHCA” as part of his credentials. Advancement to Fellow represents the highest level of membership in ACHCA.” Robert W. Lane, CNHA, FACHCA, President and CEO, American College of Health Care Administrators, Washington, D.C.

Fellowship requires a record of continuing professional education, formal education, community service, and at least two years of voting membership. Our nationally recognized Fellow status confirms a member’s dedication to the post-acute and aging services community.

“Reaching Fellow level with the American College of Nursing Home Administrator is an immense honor that fills me with an overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude. It is a testament to the countless hours of hard work, dedication, and passion I have poured into my profession,” said Neville. “This honor reinforced my commitment to making a lasting difference in the lives of those in need.”

Neville began his journey in the healthcare industry 25 years ago as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the same facility where his mother worked as a nurse. Throughout the years, Neville has served at a multitude of senior living facilities before joining SALMON Health and Retirement in 2017. Recently, Neville was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer where he oversees multiple care levels in the senior living space, including independent living.
