BOSTON — RMF Engineering, a full-service mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering firm, has expanded its Boston footprint with the completion of an office expansion at 211 Congress Street, reflecting continued growth in the region driven by higher education and institutional work.
The expansion includes a full fit-out of adjacent space, allowing RMF to now occupy the entire sixth floor of the building. Company leaders said the move is designed to accommodate a growing team while supporting increased collaboration among staff and project partners.
“The success we’ve achieved, especially through our work with higher education clients across Boston and the greater Northeast, has been a catalyst for meaningful growth,” said Conrad A. Hertz, PE, principal and New England division manager at RMF. “This physical expansion became the natural next step in our evolution, creating a space for our team and collaborators to come together and continue building on the momentum we’ve created.”
RMF’s Boston office supports projects across the higher education, science and technology, and energy sectors. Recent work includes the University of Massachusetts Amherst School of Public Health and Health Sciences Hub, multiple Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) centers, and the University of Vermont Buildings Energy Master Plan.
According to RMF, the expanded office underscores the firm’s long-term commitment to the Boston market and the broader New England region, where demand for technically complex, energy-efficient building systems continues to grow.
