LITTLE COMPTON, R.I.— A 32-acre waterfront property along the Sakonnet River in Little Compton, RI, has sold for $6.5 million, marking the highest reported land sale in the town in the past 20 years.

The property was listed by Allen Gammons of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Commonwealth Real Estate and purchased by buyers represented by Ryan Shea of Homesmart.

The parcel, situated above the water with views toward Portsmouth and Middletown, offers potential for development as a private estate or subdivision for multiple residences.
