BOSTON– PLNT Burger, the 100% plant-based, fast-casual vegan restaurant popular for its chef-crafted, nutrient-rich, and planet-friendly proteins, announce the opening of its first Boston-area brick-and-mortar location.
Certified kosher and halal, PLNT Burger will open on Dec. 11th, 2025 at Harvard Street in Coolidge Corner, directly across the street from the iconic Coolidge Corner Theatre. PLNT Burger Co-founders Spike Mendelsohn, Seth Goldman and Jonah Goldman will be on hand to meet and greet neighbors and celebrate.
To celebrate, the first 100 guests will receive a free PLNT Cheeseburger starting at 5pm on November 11th. There will also be free samples, PLNT Burger merch, special prizes, and a DJ. PLNT Burger Co-Founders Spike Mendelsohn, Seth Goldman (Wellesley MA) and Jonah Goldman will be on hand to welcome guests.
The new location will feature an oversized mural painted by Boston artist Mark Grundig. The mural features a map of Coolidge Corner, a lovely shout-out to the neighborhood. Grundig and the PLNT Burger team have been collaborating on this mural since June.

PLNT Burger’s first Boston area brick-and-mortar location features oversized windows that overlook bustling Harvard Street in Brookline’s Coolidge Corner. Enjoy a green meal in a playful, retro-modern space, decorated in shades of teal, purple, yellow and red. The dining area seats about 30 patrons with booths and tables that can be configured from small to larger groups. Guests can dine in or take out.
PLNT Burger believes that sustainable, plant-based food can and should taste great while simultaneously reducing environmental impact and improving human health by removing cholesterol and trans fat from our favorite foods. There are PLNT Burger locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast at select Whole Foods Markets (Locally including Ink Block South End and Dedham).
PLNT Burger is co-founded by Spike Mendelsohn, Seth Goldman and Jonah Golodman. Â Spike Mendelsohn is a celebrity chef and the Chairman of the DC Food Policy Council. He trained under some of the most prestigious chefs and restaurateurs before diving into the world of fast casual and founding several successful restaurant concepts.
Co-Founder Seth Goldman is the co-Founder of Honest Tea and Chair of the board at Beyond Meat. Seth is a visionary entrepreneur, activist and philanthropist who hopes to democratize plant-based and planet healthy foods worldwide.
Co-Founder Jonah Goldman is an entrepreneur, and environmental activist with a background in the natural food industry, regenerative agriculture, compostable packaging and fighting food waste.  Jonah  studied political science, food policy, and food security at Colorado College before working in the U.S. and abroad with politicians, farmers and a range of companies and organizations to reduce food waste and advance food security and food justice.
PLNT Burger is renowned for its signature smash-style burgers, fries, and shakes, The menu features classics like PLNT Cheeseburgers, BBQ Burgers, Chik’n Sandwiches, chili, and “Happy Crabby,”made with plant-based ingredients. Popular side items include Crispy Herbed Fries, Crispy Green Beans, and Wavy Sweet Potato Fries alongside a full complement of oat milk-based milkshakes. The Coolidge Corner PLNT Burger menu will be available for dine-in, take-out, or delivery via the PLNT Burger website and app, as well as Doordash, Grubhub, and UberEats.
