Boston – Pembroke announced that Cervello Inc., a data and analytics consulting firm that provides business planning solutions for their clients, has signed a 5-year deal for 11,769 sq ft at Seaport West.

Cervello was founded in 2009, and in 2019, became part of Kearney Analytics, a leading global management consulting firm working with more than three-quarters of the Fortune Global 500.

Citizens Energy Corporation, a non-profit energy company, is relocating its headquarters to Seaport East with a new 10-year lease for 6,780 sq ft. Founded by Joseph P. Kennedy II in 1979, Citizens Energy Corporation channels revenues from successful energy ventures to make life’s basic needs more affordable to low-income households.

Kerry Veitch, Head of People from Cervello commented, “We are so excited to be at Seaport West. Cervello and our parent company Kearney love our new office in this dynamic location—it will serve as an excellent space to support our clients with their biggest business challenges. I would like to thank Pembroke and JLL for facilitating our requests no matter how big.”

Pembroke is undertaking a comprehensive renovation of the ground floor at Seaport East, creating a welcoming new light-filled lobby with a new café that will seamlessly flow into the lobby offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A reimagined wintergarden, featuring an abundance of plants and trees to bring the outdoors in, will connect tenants with Eastport Park, while a new conference space and private upper-level treetop retreat will be available for meetings and events.

Kristan McLaughlin, Director of Asset Management with Pembroke commented, “We are delighted to welcome Cervello Inc and Citizens Energy as they are an outstanding fit for our growing tenant roster. We are thrilled to offer new innovative amenities and a redesigned experience that will connect the building’s vibrant workforce and provide collaborative space for employees and visitors to gather.”

According to Tim Bianchi, broker with Newmark, “A driving force behind Cervello’s and Citizens Energy’s decisions to come to Seaport East was Pembroke’s plans to re-design the lobby and create a more welcoming place for tenants and guests to work and socialize. Employees will enjoy the vibrant new café offering nutritious and convenient fare all day, and with newly designed meeting spaces, tenants and visitors will be inspired by the transformation and abundance of new areas to get together.”

Seaport East & Seaport West are located at Commonwealth Pier, Pembroke’s exciting revitalization project to create Boston’s newest waterfront destination. Commonwealth Pier will be an energetic mix of retail, community events, and public spaces to gather. It is a place to enjoy the Harbor with an enhanced Harborwalk and sweeping views. Seaport East and West at Commonwealth pier offer a high-performance workplace of the future being repositioned to meet the needs of today’s dynamic workforce.

Over the past year, three existing office tenants at Seaport East and Seaport West renewed their leases for terms up to 10 years, totaling 57,783.55 sq ft. 126,560 sq ft remains available at Seaport East including two contiguous floors and a select number of partial floor spec suites.
