CAMBRIDGE, Mass. Northstar Project & Real Estate Services has promoted Daniel Govoni and Lisa Hamilton to Associate Principal, strengthening the firm’s leadership team as it prepares for continued growth.

The Cambridge-based firm, which provides project management, development management, and advisory services, said the promotions reflect both individuals’ long-standing contributions and deep experience across a wide range of real estate sectors.

Govoni, who joined Northstar in 2012, brings more than 15 years of senior-level project management experience spanning the full lifecycle of development projects—from due diligence and permitting through design, construction, and closeout. His portfolio includes work across life sciences, residential, commercial, higher education, institutional, utility, and mixed-use developments, with a combined value exceeding $1.7 billion.

He is currently supporting a research university endowment fund on a ground-up life science and office development in Kendall Square and leading project work for TransMedics on its new headquarters facility in Somerville. Prior to joining Northstar, Govoni held project management roles in the construction industry and earned a degree in construction management from Roger Williams University.

Hamilton, who joined the firm in 2011, brings two decades of experience in the real estate industry, having led projects and programs totaling more than $400 million and 3 million square feet. Her expertise spans strategic planning, budgeting, capital planning, team assembly, governance, and design and construction administration.

Her portfolio includes projects across commercial, residential, higher education, institutional, and life sciences sectors, with a total value exceeding $1.5 billion. She is currently leading a building repositioning initiative in Cambridge for Clarion Partners and managing a 220,000-square-foot office fit-out for a global software company. Hamilton previously oversaw Phase I of the 500,000-square-foot development at Assembly Innovation Park on behalf of BioMed Realty.

Before joining Northstar, Hamilton held engineering roles at PEER Consultants P.C. and CDM Smith. She earned an MBA from University of Rhode Island and a degree in civil engineering from Roger Williams University.

The promotions come as Northstar continues to expand its presence in Greater Boston’s competitive real estate market, particularly in high-growth sectors such as life sciences and mixed-use development. The firm said the expanded leadership team will help position it to better serve clients and manage increasingly complex projects across the region.
