Northstar Project & Real Estate Services Announces Promotions of Six

CAMBRIDGE, MA. – Northstar, a real estate services firm providing project management, development management and advisory services, announced the promotions of Jason Atwood, Ipsitha Bayapu, Patrick Burns, Cameron Feeley, Natasha Marcuard, and Gary Pelletier.

Jason Atwood has been promoted to Vice President. Jason has been with the team for 10 years with expertise in complex phased renovations in the multifamily sector, historical restoration, management of projects in occupied settings, and tenant improvement projects. He has worked in various industry sectors, including higher education, retail, corporate, and private development. His portfolio includes the management of projects up to $380 million. Notable projects Jason has managed while at Northstar include a phased comprehensive renovation of Soldier’s Field Park, a 475-unit apartment complex for Harvard University Housing, a renovation of the Harvard Faculty Club, and is currently working on a ground-up 265-unit multifamily project for Harvard University.

Ipsitha Bayapu

Ipsitha Bayapu has been promoted to Project Manager. Ipsitha has over four years of experience in project management and is currently supporting a multi-phased R&D lab renovation capital project on behalf of Takeda Pharmaceutical. Her work includes working with project teams through different phases of a project life cycle, including planning, design, construction administration, closeout, and relocation.

Patrick Burns has been promoted to Senior Vice President. Pat has over 30 years of experience with facility-related

operations, maintenance, and project management. His work includes being the lead project manager for the tenant fit out of Sanofi’s office building at Cambridge Crossing and the lead project manager for the development, design, and construction of the tenant improvement projects for a confidential financial services client in Boston’s Financial District and west of Boston. Pat is knowledgeable in all facets of project management, including civil engineering, real estate economics, budgeting, and cost analyses.

Cameron Feeley

Cameron Feeley has been promoted to Assistant Project Manager. Cameron brings a year and a half of experience in structural design and supporting clients in the residential, transportation, and commercial real estate sectors. Her work includes working with Harvard University Housing on its high-rise residential apartment and other capital improvement projects and supporting parking improvements at Logan Airport.

Natasha Marcuard has been promoted to Vice President. She has 15 years of experience working in the life science,

higher education, and corporate TI sectors as an architect and an owner’s project manager. Her areas of expertise include renovations of R&D laboratories within active lab environments, sustainability, strategizing how to execute complex programs, budgeting, and scheduling, phased construction administration, and projects scaling up to $82M. Notable projects Natasha has managed include Takeda Pharmaceutical’s capital program, which included the multi-phased R&D lab renovation and relocation. She also was the project lead for the Shire RNCD lab relocation, designing and constructing a 135,000 SF lab and office tenant interior.

Gary Pelletier

Gary Pelletier has been promoted to Assistant Vice President. He has over 30 years of experience in corporate design and construction project management with expertise in managing feasibility studies, design development, implementation, and oversight of RFP and contracting processes. Gary has completed projects up to $800M. Gary’s commitment to collaboration and stakeholder engagement facilitated his success in high-profile projects involving office complexes, airline facilities, and research laboratories. He recently managed various renovation projects for a client utility company, including renovations and modernizations of several office/operations sites in New York and Massachusetts.
