NeighborWorks Housing Solutions Receives Metro South Economic Impact Award for Sycamore on Main in Brockton

BROCKTON, MA–NeighborWorks Housing Solutions (NHS), a housing service provider in southern Massachusetts, announced that it received a 2021 Metro South Economic Impact Award for developing Sycamore on Main, a 48-residential apartment complex at 121 Main Street in Brockton, MA.

The Metro South Chamber of Commerce selected NHS was for the honor as the investment in Sycamore on Main “contributes greatly to the economic development of the Metro South region.”

“Progress takes leadership, vision, and cooperation,” said Cynthia Pendergast, Brockton Program Director for NeighborWorks Housing Solutions.  “Seeing the completion of this development in the heart of downtown Brockton is a testament to the partnership between NeighborWorks and the City of Brockton.”

The Metro South Chamber of Commerce honored NeighborWorks Housing Solutions at its 108th Annual Meeting, which was held on November 10th.

“What an honor to be selected for this prestigious award from the Metro South Chamber of Commerce,” said Robert Corley, CEO of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions. “Sycamore on Main is one of our latest projects, completed just this year.  As with all our properties we take great pride in this attractive facility that rethinks housing and adds to the economic development of our region.”
