BOSTON–Accessories brand MZ Wallace is opening their third retail store, located on Newbury Street in Boston.
This expansion comes as the brand approaches its 25th anniversary in 2025, marking a milestone in its journey. Since launching in New York City in 2000 with a physical retail presence—a rarity and a challenge in today’s e-commerce-driven world—MZ Wallace has continued to thrive and grow its in-store footprint. The brand is opening another store location at the Aventura Mall in Florida later this month.
The new Boston location draws inspiration from the brand’s iconic Crosby Street store. Designer and artist Adam Charlap Hyman reimagined Gio Ponti’s signature marble-patterned rubber floors from Milan’s Pirelli Tower, digitally transforming photographs of marble into striking patterns featured across the store’s wallpaper, fabrics, and industrial carpets.
The space also features distinctive pedestals by L.A.-based artist Shun Kinoshita, showcasing the brand’s signature bags, alongside an artwork by Cynthia Talmidge, whom the brand partnered with on an exclusive bag this past fall in part of a partnership with Platform This piece also showcases the brand’s commitment to artistic partnerships and thoughtful design.
