BOSTON— Marcus Partners, a real estate investment, management, and development firm, announced today the opening of a new Atlanta office as part of its strategic expansion in the Southeast. The firm also named industry veteran Casey Barber as Senior Vice President, Investments, to lead and grow its regional investment efforts.

Based in Atlanta, Barber will be responsible for expanding Marcus Partners’ presence across the Southeast alongside Partner Andrew Dolinsky. The move marks a strategic re-entry into the market for the firm, which previously invested in the region in earlier fund vintages and now sees renewed opportunity across industrial and multifamily assets.

The Atlanta office opening follows Marcus Partners’ successful acquisition earlier this year of Heights at Shadowood, a 287-unit apartment community, underscoring the firm’s confidence in the region’s long-term growth fundamentals. Leadership views the Southeast as a high-potential market to further scale its vertically integrated investment platform.

“Casey brings exceptional sourcing capabilities, deep market knowledge, and a proven track record of executing complex transactions across the Southeast,” said Andrew Dolinsky, Partner at Marcus Partners. “His relationships, investment discipline, and leadership experience make him the ideal person to establish and scale our presence in Atlanta.”

Barber brings extensive experience across acquisitions, capital markets, asset strategy, team leadership, and partner engagement throughout major Sunbelt markets. Over the course of his career, he has closed more than 140 property acquisitions, representing over $8.0 billion in total transaction volume.

Prior to joining Marcus Partners, Barber served as Senior Vice President of Investments at RPM Living. Before that, he spent nearly a decade at CARROLL, where he held progressively senior investment roles. Barber is a graduate of the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate, cum laude.

With the addition of Barber and the establishment of its Atlanta office, Marcus Partners continues to advance its growth strategy, strengthening its footprint in one of the nation’s most dynamic real estate markets.
