Boston– Lupoli Companies has named Morgan Pierson as Senior Vice President of Real Estate & Development. Pierson will be responsible for overseeing Lupoli Companies’ real estate portfolio including future developments in the Merrimack Valley and beyond.

Pierson brings over 20 years of real estate experience to the company from both large institutional leaders and regional entrepreneurial firms in Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Lupoli Companies, Pierson was Senior Vice President of Development at Boston-based Berkeley Investments, a 30-year-old MBE firm focused on complex mixed-use developments throughout Greater Boston. Most recently, he oversaw the design and full entitlement of the $1.2 billion mixed-use redevelopment in the Allston neighborhood of Boston. Prior to Berkeley, Morgan was Director of Development at Greystar where he oversaw a variety of projects throughout the New England region.

“I’m thrilled to bring my real estate expertise to Lupoli Companies. We have a diversity of compelling investment and development projects in our pipeline, and I’m excited to be joining at this critical growth period for the company, said Morgan Pierson, SVP of Real Estate & Development. “I look forward to tackling these impactful new developments and to further enriching the communities we serve.”

In his new role, Pierson will oversee the company’s team of real estate professionals while growing the firm’s investments and developments by implementing future strategies. He will be an integral part of the current real estate holdings as well as future Lupoli Companies including the expansion of Riverwalk Innovation District, the redevelopment of the Hampton Beach Casino, and new ground-up mixed-use developments in Haverhill, Lowell and Littleton.

“Bringing Morgan on board was an easy choice given his wealth of real estate knowledge and experience leading large scale mixed-use developments,” said Sal Lupoli, CEO and Founder, Lupoli Companies. “He is a natural fit for the Lupoli team; his reputation is unparalleled, and this position is very well-deserved.”

Pierson is a member of MassBio, NAIOP, ULI, and sits on the Real Estate Leadership Council for the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. He also sits on the Board of the non-profits A Better City and Artisan’s Asylum. Pierson holds a BA in Economics from George Washington University and an MSRED from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Pierson currently lives in the South End neighborhood of Boston.
