CAMBRIDGE, MA – Lam Partners, which provides lighting design for architecture and for exterior environments, announced the promotion of Sarah Fisher to Principal and Jennifer Sanborn to the position of Senior Associate.
Ms. Fisher, IALD, LEED AP BD+C, LC, has been promoted to Principal. She has over 18 years of experience in architectural lighting design.
Her career began in theatrical lighting, where she served in all capacities, from lighting designer to union stagehand. Prior to pursuing her master’s degree in Architectural Lighting Design from Parsons School of Design, Ms. Fisher explored the opportunity of working as a lighting director in broadcast television. She offers her special expertise in sustainable lighting and energy code compliance, and a strong collaborative approach.
Ms. Sanborn, LC, EIT, LEED AP, has been promoted to Senior Associate. Ms. Sanborn studied architectural engineering at Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree with an emphasis on lighting. She has a passion for understanding how things work and creating beautiful environments for people to experience through lighting design.
Ms. Sanborn is also involved behind the scenes at Lam Partners by presenting monthly in-house project management training sessions to ensure that the designers and project designers who recently have joined the firm are prepared for a fast-paced, demanding environment.
