Director of Engineering, Hancock Associates
Their Director of Engineering, Joseph Peznola, PE has over 30 years of experience in land development including technical quality control and assurance, strategic planning, business development and project management. As the Director of Engineering at Hancock Associates, he oversees engineering operations across Hancock’s nine offices and manages a staff of over 25 engineers and scientists. Peznola is held in high regard for his expertise in the development of multi-family and affordable housing developments and is often requested by communities to assist Zoning Boards reviewing large complex projects. The Massachusetts Housing Partnership recently retained Peznola to assist in a training program to Massachusetts cities and towns planning to implement the legislature’s MBTA Communities Housing Act. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Certified Soil Evaluator in Massachusetts and Licensed Septic Designer in New Hampshire.
When asked about its five-year growth plan by the Boston Real Estate Times, Hancock Associates said that the firm will continue to serve multiple markets and geographic regions over the next five years.
