WALTHAM, MA– John DiGiovanni, president of Harvard Square Business Association and Cambridge, MA-based Trinity Property Management, Inc., will speak at the Boston Real Estate Times’s upcoming monthly breakfast summit on July 9 at the Westin Hotel in Waltham, MA.
Upendra Mishra, publisher of Boston Real Estate Times, said that several retailers have left once bustling Harvard Square in recent months, and that Mr. DiGiovanni will touch upon those critical issues as well as future of retail in these changing times.
“Retail in the twenty-first century is rapidly changing and will continue to do so,” said Mr. DiGiovanni. “Municipalities, property owners and retailers need to work together; they must be nimble, creative and fully embrace experiential marketing, which is more important than ever.”
Mr. DiGiovanni, John is an original signer of the Charter of the New Urbanism, is the President of the Harvard Square Business Association. He has served on several boards and commissions in the City of Cambridge. Currently, he is a member of the Harvard Square Advisory Committee, the Envision Alewife Working Group and the Harvard Square Kiosk Working Group. In addition, John also serves as a Corporator of Mt. Auburn Hospital and as Trustee of Cambridge Savings Bank.
Mr. DiGiovanni is president of Trinity Property Management, a real estate management firm he has owned and managed 1960. He is a graduate of Boston University’s School of Management.
