DANVERS, MA — Hancock Associates, a local provider of land surveying, civil engineering and wetland science services, announced that Deborah L. Colbert, P.E., and Brian B. Donegan, P.L.S., have joined the firm as Senior Project Managers.
Deborah is a registered Professional Environmental Engineer in Massachusetts and holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Maine. Prior to joining Hancock Associates, she was an Environmental Sales Engineer and a Project Manager at several prominent Boston area engineering firms. She also has several years of experience in construction dating back to her very early years as an Inspectional Services Project Engineer at Nut Island and Deer Island Wastewater Treatment Plants with the Metropolitan District Commission (MDC), currently named the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority. Deborah is based in the firm’s Danvers office.
“I worked with Hancock Associates while I was an Environmental Sales Engineer and was impressed with the outstanding design work that they do,” said Deborah. “I wanted to be part of their team because of their phenomenal reputation on the North Shore and New England. I am extremely excited to work with such a talented group of surveyors, engineers, wetland scientists and administration staff.”
Brian is a registered Professional Land Surveyor in Massachusetts and holds a B.S. from Northeastern University. Prior to joining Hancock Associates, he was a Senior Project Manager and Survey Project Manager at leading civil engineering and land surveying firms in Massachusetts. Brian is based in the firm’s Marlborough office.
“Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed coordinating and managing survey projects, but I was always looking for an opportunity to expand my responsibilities and grow my skillset,” said Brian. “At Hancock, I’m able to do what I love, be more involved in managerial decisions and work on exciting projects with an extraordinary group of people.
