North Andover, MA— Greystar, a global leader in real estate development, and Merrimack College recently celebrated the topping-off of two new residence halls that will significantly expand the college’s on-campus housing offerings.
The milestone was marked with a ceremony attended by school leadership, Greystar representatives, and members of the project team.
Once completed, the two residence halls will deliver 540 student beds, representing the largest increase in on-campus housing at Merrimack College in more than a decade. The new buildings also feature 12,609 square feet of academic space, including a pavilion for honors students and a new fitness center, reinforcing the college’s ongoing investment in student life and academic excellence.
The development is being delivered through a public-private partnership (P3) between Merrimack College and Greystar, allowing the school to expand campus infrastructure efficiently while maintaining its focus on providing a high-quality student experience.
The two new residence halls are slated for completion in 2026, ahead of the upcoming academic year.
