BOSTON – Greenberg Traurig’s Boston Real Estate Practice represented The Gillette Company, LLC (a subsidiary of The Procter & Gamble Company) in the sale of 6.5 acres of South Boston waterfront property adjacent to the General Electric Company campus to RBCS Acquisitions, LLC, an affiliate of developer Related Beal, LLC. The deal closed May 14, 2019.
The Greenberg Traurig legal team included Christopher H. Milton, a shareholder in the firm’s Real Estate Practice, and Associate Zachary A. Dovitz. They handled all aspects of the negotiation of documentation related to the sale of the property, including negotiation of a Memorandum of Understanding with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation.
Milton has been assisting this client since 1998 on the creation and implementation of the “100 Acres PDA Master Plan” affecting the Fort Point Channel area that includes the land being sold to Related Beal’s affiliate.
