PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Gilbane reported record performance in 2025, citing strong growth across its construction, real estate development and facilities management businesses as the company expands its integrated platform for clients across the built environment.

The Providence-based firm released its 2025 Annual Impact Report, which highlights approximately $14 billion in construction backlog and $12 billion in development projects completed or underway.

According to the report, Gilbane has aligned its real estate investment, development, construction, asset management, property management and facilities management businesses into a single platform designed to provide clients with end-to-end services throughout the project life cycle.

“Our integrated platform brings the full strength of Gilbane together around one goal: creating more value for our clients,” said Ed Broderick, CEO of Gilbane. “By bringing together our development, construction, and management expertise, we are better positioned to help clients navigate complexity, accelerate project delivery and achieve measurable results.”

The company said it is also expanding its use of artificial intelligence and other technologies to improve project planning, coordination, safety and decision-making.

Among the report’s highlights, Gilbane said it has more than 26,500 housing units completed or under development nationwide and continues to rank among the top builders of advanced manufacturing, science and technology facilities. Since 2020, the company has invested nearly $7 billion in multifamily, affordable and mixed-income housing projects.

Broderick said Gilbane remains focused on sustainable development, workforce investment and delivering projects that strengthen communities while creating long-term value for clients.
