Tighe & Bond, an employee-owned regional consulting firm in the Northeast, specializing in water and wastewater, transportation, and building services engineering, site planning and design, landscape architecture, and environmental science, recently acquired Cape Cod-based Coastal Engineering Co., Inc.

The addition of Coastal Engineering’s staff bolsters the breadth and depth of services that Tighe & Bond currently offers to clients, particularly those located in Cape Cod, the islands, and coastal Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

By focusing on bright ideas, green strategies, and clear solutions, the Tighe & Bond team develops sustainable solutions for our clients’ complex challenges.

As Tighe & Bond’s President and CEO, Mr.  Belitz is responsible for company vision, strategy, and growth – including the development and implementation of our firm’s strategic plan. Before this, he served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, focusing on areas such as corporate governance, strategy development, financial planning and analysis, team building, and operating efficiency.

His focus is on helping Tighe & Bond continue to develop and execute strategies for our firm’s growth and success throughout the northeast, as well as helping our clients achieve their goals.

Outside of work, Mr.  Belitz enjoys spending time and traveling with his family, exercising, sports, and reading good fiction books. He also is an active volunteer with Special Olympics of Connecticut. While Mr.  Belitz has adjusted to life as a die-hard New York sports fan in an office filled with Boston fans, he remains loyal to his geographic roots.
