BURLINGTON, MA – Erland Construction has begun the next phase of construction at Overlook Ridge, The Chase II–a multifamily housing development in Malden, Massachusetts, for Roseland Property Company, a division of Mack-Cali. Erland was retained to execute this second phase after successfully completing The Chase in late 2014.
The Chase II is comprised of two 4- and 5-story wood frame buildings: Building 2B, a 194,000sf building with 173 rental apartment units; Building 3D with 123,000sf of space and 119 apartment units; and three sets of individual bay parking garages. The mix of studio, one-, and two-bedroom units feature stainless steel appliances and stone countertops. Resident amenities include a fitness center; club, conference, screening and yoga rooms; children’s play area; and outdoor pool and entertaining area. The project architect on this new phase is Minno Wasko, Architects and Planners.
