BOSTON— Hines, a global real estate investment manager, announced today that Episcope Hospitality, a restaurant group led by David Morton of the Morton’s Steakhouse family, will introduce three new dining destinations at South Station Tower—Boston’s newest skyline-defining development.
Set to open in Spring 2026, the trio of venues—The Moseley, Proper Fare, and a yet-to-be-named signature bar & lounge—will bring a dynamic, all-day culinary experience to the 51-story mixed-use tower rising above Boston’s most active transit hub.
“Episcope Hospitality’s proven ability to create vibrant, community-driven dining destinations makes them an ideal partner for South Station Tower,” said Sarah Hawkins, Senior Managing Director and Head of Hines’ U.S. East market. “These exciting new concepts will enhance the tenant and resident experience while solidifying South Station Tower’s position as a premier destination within Boston’s evolving downtown.”
A Trio of Distinct Culinary Experiences
At the heart of the new collection will be The Moseley, a full-service restaurant offering refined yet approachable cuisine. Named after Alex Moseley, a 19th-century Leather District figure whose craftsmanship helped define the neighborhood, the restaurant will blend sophistication and warmth—offering everything from fresh seafood and expertly prepared chops to a signature burger and inventive cocktails. The space is designed as an elegant retreat above the city’s bustle, ideal for business lunches, evening gatherings, and private events.
Proper Fare, an all-day café and market, will cater to the building’s office tenants, residents, and commuters with coffee, sandwiches, salads, and chef-prepared grab-and-go selections. Its blend of comfort and convenience will make it an inviting stop for guests throughout the workday and into the evening.
Completing the trio, a signature bar & lounge—a stylish extension of The Moseley—will offer a sophisticated, day-to-night setting for both quiet moments and social connection. Featuring a curated beverage program and an atmosphere that evolves throughout the day, the bar will serve everything from morning coffee to late-night cocktails. Its official name will be announced in the coming months.
A New Culinary Landmark for Boston
“Boston is a city that values authenticity and excellence, two qualities that define how we approach hospitality,” said David Morton, Co-Founder and CEO of Episcope Hospitality. “South Station Tower is the perfect canvas—a place where history meets innovation, and where a true sense of community can thrive. We’re honored to help shape the culinary and social identity of such a transformative project.”
Together, the three venues will create a vibrant culinary ecosystem for residents, workers, and visitors. Tenants and homeowners at South Station Tower will also enjoy exclusive hospitality benefits, including in-home dining service, catering, priority reservations, preferred pricing, and curated daily programming—extending the experience of hospitality beyond the restaurant walls.
Episcope’s Boston Debut
The partnership marks Episcope Hospitality’s entry into the Boston market, following its success with high-profile projects such as The Landing above New York’s Penn Station and 2011 Crystal Drive in National Landing. The Chicago-based group is known for transforming high-traffic urban spaces into dynamic gathering places that merge community, design, and exceptional dining.
The move also reflects Morton’s personal connection to Boston and appreciation for its cultural and culinary landscape.
