Hingham, MA – Derby Street Shops expands upon its local offerings with the arrival of Mill 77 Exchange, opening on March 11, and featuring an exclusive variety of handmade furniture, décor, and a signature line of handcrafted objects for the home.
Mill 77’s new store spans 8,000 square feet and is the brand’s largest yet. Guests will find a curated selection of locally made, vintage inspired furniture, décor and textiles, including pottery, wall hangings and art, accessories, throw blankets and pillows, seasonal gifts and more. Mill 77’s products are one-of-a-kind and many are handcrafted in its own custom build shop. Derby Street Shops is Mill 77’s second location following its recent opening at MarketStreet Lynnfield, and it’s the brand’s debut on the South Shore. It is located next to J. Crew.
Mill 77 was founded when owners Gary Bergeron and his wife, Julie, were moving out of their family home. While searching for a place to sell their furnishings and décor, and after years of dabbling in the furniture refinishing market, an idea started to form. Mill 77 launched using every piece of the couple’s own furniture as inventory, and has evolved as a locally loved, specialty home décor store showcasing upscale, recycled, industrial and custom-made furnishings. Passionate about all things vintage, the successful family business, which Gary and Julie run with their children and grandchildren, takes customers’ inspirations and marries them with their own imagination to offer the most unique collection of products.

Mill 77’s hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 10am – 7pm, Friday – Saturday 10am – 8pm, and Sunday 11am – 6pm. Covid protocols are in place to ensure customer and employee safety and include mandatory masks and social distancing.
