MARSHFIELD, MA – David Pratt announced the launch of DPP Fine Homes, a new full-service residential general contracting firm, specializing in custom high-end new homes and renovations.
Pratt is taking his vast experience across architecture, engineering and construction management along with hands-on carpentry and back office skill to bring a new type of firm to the table – one laser-focused on client service and high touch communication at every phase of the project.
“It’s no secret that home building and renovations can cause a great deal of stress with clients, as it’s a highly personal process,” said Pratt, owner of DPP Fine Homes. “We saw a gap in the market and wanted to create a firm that would allow us to foster each project with a greater level of intimacy to alleviate that stress as much as possible while fully delivering on our clients expectations.”
The last 10 years of Pratt’s career were spent in Senior Project Manager roles at Polhemus Savery DaSilva Architect Builders and Fallon Custom Home and Renovations, Inc. where he managed all aspects of multiple ground up high-end residential construction projects from schematic design through occupancy. At DPP Fine Homes, Pratt is applying the processes, methods and techniques that he’s learned and created over the past 20+ years in the industry to dedicate to $1.5M – $10M projects across Massachusetts.
“Often, the more senior people get in an organization, the less hands-on they are on the day to day. I got into this business because I love the process and the clients so it was important to me to create a firm that allowed me to stay involved throughout the entire project,” Pratt concluded.
