BOSTON – Cushman & Wakefield has hired three industry professionals to join its Boston office. These additions enhance the growth strategy the firm has forged since late last year.

“Making key hires and adding diverse skillsets to our talented team is the right move,” said Carolyn Sidor, Managing Principal of Cushman & Wakefield’s New England Offices. “Melding existing talent with new talent is a catalyst for us to push boundaries, reach new heights for our clients and extend our leadership position in the market.”

Brian Connolly joins as Executive Director from JLL. He brings more than 18 years of experience focused on driving value and results    for mid-size portfolio companies in the delivery of transaction services nationally and globally. Prior to his role at JLL, he worked with Richards Barry Joyce and Partners. Connolly graduated from Bentley University and holds the MCR designation from CoreNet. “I am proud to be joining a firm with the ability to service the needs of my clients both locally & globally,” said Connolly. “I’m excited to be part of the energy and entrepreneurial spirit at Cushman & Wakefield.“

Pete Whoriskey rejoins Cushman & Wakefield as Managing Director and will work with the South & West Suburban team. Whoriskey was most recently a Managing Director with Newmark, but worked at Cushman & Wakefield from 2011-2015. He also held positions with Anglo Irish Bank and Boston Capital earlier in his career. Whoriskey graduated from Providence College with a Bachelor of Science in Management. “Coming back to a terrific brand and platform is very exciting, said Whoriskey. “The people here are some of the best in the business and I look forward to working alongside them.”

Conor Helfrich, who previously worked at Newmark, joins the firm as a Senior Associate. Helfrich’s efforts will be concentrated on new business development in both Boston and Cambridge. He graduated from Tufts University where he was a three-time All-American lacrosse player, helping the team win back-to-back National Championships. “The culture at Cushman & Wakefield is what drew me to this opportunity,” said Helfrich. “It’s great to be part of a passionate, agile and hardworking team of professionals.”
