MAITLAND, Fla.— Cuhaci Peterson has appointed architect Jeremy Burge as principal in its newly established office in Bentonville, Arkansas, marking the firm’s sixth location as it expands into the rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas region.
Burge, a registered architect and LEED-accredited professional, brings more than 20 years of experience in architecture and project management. Prior to joining the firm, he worked with the U.S. Department of State Overseas Buildings Operations, overseeing projects across a variety of sectors including retail, multifamily housing, child development centers, medical office facilities, higher education, grocery and commercial developments.
His professional background also includes leadership in office management, financial oversight, human resources and business development.
Greg Ansbro, principal at Cuhaci Peterson, said the expansion reflects the firm’s focus on serving clients in emerging markets.
“Expanding into Bentonville reflects our dedication to serving clients in a rapidly evolving market,” Ansbro said, adding that Burge’s experience in sustainable design and managing complex projects will strengthen the firm’s capabilities.
The new Bentonville office is intended to support clients throughout Northwest Arkansas, a region that has seen significant economic and commercial growth in recent years.
Nathan Griffis, chief development officer at the firm, said Burge’s leadership and strategic expertise will help guide the company’s largest regional team and key client relationships.
Burge holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech and is accredited by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. He was also recognized in the 2013 “40 Under 40” class by Building Design + Construction.
