Columbia Promotes Sharon Jozokos to Vice President | Healthcare Role

NORTH READING, MA – – Columbia announced the promotion of Sharon Jozokos to the newly-created role of Vice President, Healthcare.

“Healthcare facility construction has been a primary focus at Columbia for decades and we have very high standards in addressing the needs of this important sector,” says Columbia President Shaun Lover. “Sharon immediately understood and embraced our approach while working tirelessly to find new solutions and even more efficient practices. She has had a tremendous impact here, with both clients and colleagues, in a short time. We are thrilled to announce this new role.”

With more than twenty-five years of experience, Jozokos’ portfolio includes projects for healthcare institutions such as Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Partners HealthCare, Maine Medical Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, MelroseWakefield Hospital, Beverly Hospital, and Fenway Health.

Jozokos is a former president of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). Currently, she participates on Wentworth Institute of Technology’s University Advisor Executive Committee, as well as the Construction Management Industry Advisory Board. She is also a member of Massachusetts Maritime Academy’s Engineering Council and New England Healthcare Engineers’ Society’s Supporting Member Liaison to the Board of Directors.
