NORTH READING, Mass.— Columbia, a North Reading–based construction management firm, announced the promotion of Sam Dettore, Ralph DiNapoli, and Matt Johnson to vice president roles. All three promotions are effective immediately.

Sam Dettore has been promoted to Vice President | Corporate. Dettore joined Columbia in 2000 and has worked with clients and internal teams across a wide range of projects. The company said his promotion reflects his long-standing contributions, focus on project quality, and ability to build strong working relationships.
Ralph DiNapoli has been named Vice President | Safety. DiNapoli joined Columbia in 2015 and has spent his career working in field operations. In his new role, he will continue to oversee and strengthen the company’s jobsite safety programs. Columbia cited his leadership and experience as key factors in advancing safety practices across the organization.

Matt Johnson has been promoted to Vice President | Hospitality Construction. Johnson has worked at Columbia for 30 years and specializes in hospitality projects. The company said his experience and leadership have contributed to Columbia’s presence in the hospitality sector, particularly in the Boston market.
