BOSTON– Colliers International announced that it has appointed real estate professional Matthew Furey as Senior Advisor in its Boston office. Furey will specialize in representing office tenants, landlords and developers in the urban Boston market across the full spectrum of their commercial real estate needs.

Furey most recently served for several years at CBRE, representing both landlords and tenants in the office and industrial sectors. In addition to advising clients including Peloton, Allstate, ADT Security Services and Atlantic Management, Furey was also heavily involved and highly successful in new business generation.

As Colliers continues to grow its footprint and secure notable Boston-area wins, including its work with the Massachusetts Convention Center Authority on the potential sale of the Hynes Convention Center, the firm has prioritized expanding its team of top-tier professionals across sectors and areas of expertise.

Furey joins a team of innovative, hungry and entrepreneurial professionals that in the last year alone added a total of 11 new hires, including industry-leader Frank Petz from JLL. In addition to Furey, Colliers has brought on the following professionals since the beginning of 2020.

  • Nick Dessalines, Research Analyst, Capital Markets
  • Amelia Jenks, Client Service Coordinator, Life Sciences
  • John Nasca, Senior Financial Analyst, Capital Markets
“At Colliers, we are attracting a strong combination of talent from our competitors as well as from organizations beyond the commercial real estate industry, which is helping us compete at the highest level,” said David Goodhue, Executive Managing Director and Market Leader of Colliers Boston. “2019 was a banner year for our office and by further bolstering our team with diverse and talented experts, Colliers will continue to meet and exceed the needs of our clients.”
