Quincy, MA – General Contractor Colantonio Inc. was recently awarded the Richard DeCristofaro Learning Center Project by the City of Quincy.
The project, which is located at 180 Colony Avenue, includes the renovation and addition to the existing 23,330 square foot two- and three-story building.
Renovations will consist of mechanical and electrical upgrades, windows repairs, and replacements, as well as new finishes. Partial demolition of the existing building will allow for construction of the new addition.
Two new elevators will be added, and extensive sitework including underground utilities, earthwork, and landscaping will be performed.
The building will serve as a Learning Center for special education students in Quincy.
The project was designed by Wessling Architects.
