LOS ANGELES—-CBRE Group has been recognized as one of the 2019 World’s Most Ethical Companies by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices. This is the sixth year in a row CBRE has achieved this recognition.
“Our clients trust CBRE’s professionals to deliver outstanding outcomes and service, while holding ourselves to the highest standards. Our continued recognition by the Ethisphere Institute exemplifies how important these values are to the company’s strategy and our success,” said Bob Sulentic, president and chief executive officer of CBRE.
Ethisphere’s honorees illustrate how companies focus on improving the communities where their employees live and work and set an example for strong corporate culture and responsible global citizenship. Companies are evaluated in five key categories: ethics and compliance program, culture of ethics, corporate citizenship and responsibility, governance, and leadership and reputation.
“Today, employees, investors and stakeholders are putting their greatest trust in companies to take leadership on societal issues. Companies that take the long view with a purpose-based strategy are proven to not only outperform but last,” said Ethisphere’s Chief Executive Officer, Timothy Erblich. “I congratulate everyone at CBRE for earning this recognition.”
Earlier this year CBRE was included on the 2019 America’s Best Employers For Diversity list by Forbes, and was the top real estate company on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list.
CBRE Group, a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 company headquartered in Los Angeles, is the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm (based on 2018 revenue).
