Boston— CBRE announced that Michael Affronti has been appointed Executive Managing Director for the company’s Greater Boston Advisory Services business, which includes leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance and property management. In this role, Mr. Affronti is responsible for driving the company’s growth and delivering integrated client solutions in the Greater Boston area. His oversight includes the Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire offices and more than 350 employees.
He will partner closely with Andy Hoar, who continues to serve as President of Greater Boston. “Mike brings thoughtful, principled leadership qualities to this role,” said Michael Caffey, CBRE Regional President, Advisory Services, North Region. “Trained under some of our top professionals in New York, Mike brings ten years of leasing experience—on both the tenant and landlord sides—including representing some of the largest landlords in New York City.” Mr. Affronti has relocated to Boston from New York City. Mr. Affronti began his commercial real estate career with CBRE in 2011. Before joining CBRE, he enjoyed a five-year career in professional baseball with the Oakland Athletics and the Houston Astros.
