Hyannis, MA – Simon announced several Cape Cod Mall retailer relocations will move to new locations within the center as part of the mall’s redevelopment which will be headlined by the arrival of the Cape’s first Target this fall. Retailers relocating include: Five Guys Burgers and Fries, Chipotle Mexican Grill and Visionworks.
The fast-casual restaurant specializing in hamburgers, hotdogs and French fries, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, along with the popular taco and burrito spot Chipotle Mexican Grill and Visionworks which offers a variety of frames, lenses, sunglasses, accessories and more will all be relocating to the west side of the of property facing MA-route132. The current locations will remain open until the new locations are built and ready for business. The construction on the relocation project has begun and will be complete this fall.
“We are committed to reinvesting in the property including the look and feel of the center and these relocations in conjunction with new arrivals to the property will enhance the shopping and dining experience at our center,” said Jason Huer, Mall Manager, Cape Cod Mall.
In other news, Not Your Average Joe’s is currently closed while the store is being remodeled and renovated with completion set for late summer. Not Your Average Joe’s current overhaul on its interior and exterior will include new elements such as “California Industrial” interior design, an enlarged dining space to accommodate larger dining parties, a four-sided bar complete with four new televisions, a happy hour and expanded draft beer offerings as well as upgrades to the outside patio and to-go pick-up areas adding curbside delivery parking spaces.
The Mall Management Office has also relocated to the Macy’s Men’s wing (across from Men’s Wearhouse). The Mall Management Office offers a variety of amenities such as general information, lost and found, coat and package check, complimentary wheelchair rental and more. In addition to over 200 retailer gift cards, shoppers can continue to purchase Simon Giftcards® (with offerings on each of the Visa, Mastercard and American Express networks) at the Mall Office in denominations ranging from $20 – $500.
All construction work will be performed in such a way as to minimize any shopper inconvenience during the mall’s operating hours. Additional details will be announced throughout the duration of the project and updates will be provided on Cape Cod Mall’s social channels.
