BOSTON— Bulfinch, a private real estate investment, development and management firm, announced the appointment of Mark R. DiOrio to the expanded role of Managing Director and General Counsel.
Mark joined Bulfinch in 1997 after nearly a decade practicing real estate law with Ropes & Gray LLP. With more than 20 years at Bulfinch, Mark has overseen the company’s legal affairs, as well as played key and valued roles in asset management and development.

Schlager, Chief Executive Officer. “Mark has demonstrated his proactive leadership, overseeing a number of key projects and initiatives including our Cambridge developments, advancements in business processes and improvements to our corporate and HR practices and culture.”
Mark received his Bachelor of Arts in English from Colgate University and Juris Doctorate from Duke University School of Law. He is a member of the American Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts, and NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association. Mark is also actively involved in several community organizations including Envision Alewife, The City of Cambridge Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment Task Force and The Winchester Community Music School.
