Bulfinch Names Joe Monroy as The Firm’s New Chief Technology Officer

BOSTON – The Bulfinch Companies, Inc. announced the hiring of Joe Monroy, who has joined Bulfinch as the company’s Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer.

Monroy will guide the technological vision for the company including planning and
implementing new technology solutions that add value for Bulfinch, its affiliates, and its stakeholders.

In his new role, Monroy will oversee Bulfinch’s technology infrastructure, bringing more than 20 years of IT leadership experience with him to The Bulfinch Team. Monroy’s most notable past roles include serving as Principal and Co-Founder of Roemont Consulting where he provided technology, digital advisory, and consulting solutions for financial services and commercial real estate firms.

Prior to Roemont, Monroy spent seven years at Cushman & Wakefield where he held several leadership positions including Head of Global Application Hosting and Chief Information Officer of the C&W Services division.

Monroy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Westfield State University and is a dedicated mentor and board member of The Latin STEM Alliance, a program expanding access to STEM education and promoting STEM career interest in Boston and throughout Gateway Cities across Massachusetts. Monroy is also a member for the Boston Chapter of Society of Information Management and will be joining Bulfinch’s Diversity, Equity + Inclusion Council.
