WHAT: The Builders of Color Coalition and NorthBridge Partners’ Coffee Connectors are joining together to host the 2024 Boston Student Summit, a one-day event designed to connect first-generation and underrepresented college students with opportunities in the commercial real estate (CRE) sector. Attendees will gain insight into diverse career paths within CRE and develop their professional networks through interactive sessions, networking events, and engaging presentations.
This summit is specifically tailored for first-generation and underrepresented college students interested in learning about commercial real estate and building a career in this dynamic industry. The summit has accepted 120 students from over 230 applicants, representing more than 36 institutions across the Boston and New England area.
The days schedule is as follows:
8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Registration
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Breakfast, Opening Remarks, and Introduction to Commercial Real Estate
10:00 AM – 10:15 AM: Keynote Speaker
10:15 AM – 11:00 AM: Session #1: Careers in Commercial Real Estate
11:00 AM – 11:45 AM: Session #2: Commercial Real Estate Organizations Supporting Young Professionals
11:45 AM – 12:15 PM: Lunch Break
12:15 PM – 1:30 PM: Session #3: The Power of Networking & Lunchtime Breakouts
Power Hour: Exclusive networking for Coffee Connectees and CREST Alumni
1:30 PM – 2:30 PM: Closing Remarks, Surveys, and Exit Tickets.

The summit has secured 23 sponsors. Additionally, to ensure students can fully participate, each attendee will receive a $250 stipend designed to eliminate barriers such as missing work or covering transportation costs.
