Boston Society for Architecture to Host the BSA Awards Gala on Jan 23

BOSTON—The Boston Society for Architecture (BSA) will host its annual Awards Gala on Thursday, January 23, 2020, with an awards ceremony at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, followed by a reception at BSA Space.

The Awards Gala will celebrate the winners of the following 2019 BSA Design Awards:

Accessible Design, a program of the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board; Education Facilities Design; Housing Design, in partnership with AIA New York; Small Firms Design; Unbuilt Architecture and Design; Honor Awards for Design Excellence, juried by AIA Los Angeles; the Harleston Parker Medal; and the People’s Choice Award, selected from the Harleston Parker Medal finalists.

The sole criterion is design excellence.

The BSA will also recognize the recipients of annual BSA honors: YouthBuild Boston, recipient of the BSA Commonwealth Award; Robert Benson, recipient of BSA Honorary Membership; and Kyu Sung Woo FAIA, recipient of the BSA Award of Honor.
