CAMBRIDGE, MA— QurAlis Corporation, a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering precision medicines for neurodegenerative and neurological diseases, has officially opened its new global headquarters at 35 Cambridgepark Drive in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The state-of-the-art facility spans 30,000 square feet, doubling the company’s previous footprint and strengthening its presence in the heart of Alewife Biotech Park.
The new headquarters includes expanded lab capacity, office space, and collaboration areas, designed to support QurAlis’ continued growth and innovation. More than 11,000 square feet are dedicated to cutting-edge laboratory space, featuring an extensive tissue culture suite and an onsite antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) chemistry manufacturing lab to advance the company’s FlexASO® platform.
FlexASO® is a proprietary technology developed to enhance the potency, safety, and delivery of splice-switching ASOs, with broad applications across neurodegenerative disease research.
“Maintaining our corporate headquarters in Cambridge positions us at the heart of a thriving biotechnology hub with world-class talent and leading research institutions,” said Jason Brown, chief financial officer at QurAlis. “Our new headquarters supports the advancement of our mission, providing an environment built for innovation, collaboration, and growth.”
The new facility also includes a 5,000-square-foot conferencing center, as well as enhanced amenities for employees. The fully built-out and furnished space was developed in partnership with Healthpeak, landlord of the property. QurAlis’ space is part of 35 CPD, a LEED Gold-certified, 224,000-square-foot purpose-built life sciences building with extensive amenities including a Craft Food Hall, fitness center, bike storage, and direct access to the Alewife MBTA Station.
“QurAlis’ need for Class A lab space to progress their groundbreaking neuroscience work aligned seamlessly with our purpose-built life science campus,” said Scott Bohn, chief development officer and head of lab at Healthpeak.
QurAlis was represented in the lease negotiation process by Carolyn Wheatley and Marc Consalvi of JLL. The headquarters is part of a broader 450,000-square-foot life sciences campus, reinforcing West Cambridge’s status as a premier destination for biotech and research innovation.
