PEMBROKE, MA–Acella Construction Corporation announced that Michael Towle has been promoted to senior project manager, effective immediately.
In this new role, Towle will oversee several of Acella’s largest, more complex projects in addition to managing multiple university client projects. He will also take on a greater leadership role at Acella, providing strategic counsel for executive leadership as well as junior colleague development.
Towle possesses over a decade of experience in project management, ground-up construction, engineering, HVAC, and has an excellent customer service track record. He has led or advised on countless projects throughout the New England region; some of his notable projects include The Cohen Center at Riverview School, Hingham Congregational Church, SRC Medical Facility, and multiple laboratory projects for Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Northeastern University.
After an extensive career specializing in project management and HVAC in the greater Boston area, Towle joined Acella Construction in October of 2015 as a project manager and has thrived as a member of the rapidly growing company, learning in a fast-paced industry, and being challenged by the evolving construction sector. Towle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in building and construction technology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where he developed a passion for project management. Towle’s unique blend of work ethic, attention to detail and great communication skills make him an important asset to the Acella team.
“It’s with great pleasure that we announce Mike’s promotion to senior project manager,” said Ryan LaVangie, vice president of sales and marketing at Acella Construction Corporation. “His knowledge of and dedication to our industry is outstanding; the entire Acella team extends congratulations to Mike.”
