Suzanne Duca

BOSTON–CBRE/New England’s Director of Research Suzanne Duca has been a mentor to young women starting in the industry, where it can be hard to get started. She brings her wealth of knowledge of both the Greater Boston commercial real estate and the industry as a whole to her as a resource to those who are trying to find their way, and holds herself and her team to high standards and hard work.

As Director of Research, Duca oversees all aspects of New England research with a focus on providing thought leadership for the region. She spearheads the development of market analysis, industry-specific white papers, available space surveys, and analysis of economic and demographic data. She is also responsible for coordinating the company’s quarterly market reports as well as overall maintenance of CBRE’s proprietary research database.

On Feb. 17, Boston Real Estate Times will honor Duca as one of the 10 Outstanding Women leaders in commercial real estate in a virtual award ceremony. To register for the event, please click here.

Additionally, Duca and her team deliver market information and in-depth insights to CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services professionals to help drive informed real estate decisions for their clients, as well as comprehensive research services including internet research, available space surveys, market trends, and analysis of economic and demographic data.

Duca currently sits on the boards of MassEcon’s Location and Analytics Committee, Southborough’s Economic Development Committee and the Southborough Extended Day Program, a nonprofit which seeks to help families with after-school childcare.

Prior to joining CBRE in 2011, Duca served as Vice President in the Marketing & Research Group at Colliers International. Throughout her almost 20-year career in commercial real estate, Duca has earned many awards and accolades, including being named to the Boston Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ in 2018

CBRE continues to be the leading commercial real estate and investment services firm in New England. In the fall, CBRE opened a new, state-of-the-art office in downtown Boston, the first such office in CBRE’s “Workplace360” program to open since the start of the pandemic. The two-floor, 50,454 SF office, located at 33 Arch Street, is part of CBRE’s leading-edge approach to workplace strategy crafted to promote employee flexibility, mobility and productivity. The Workplace360 strategy as applied to the Boston office helps to foster collaboration but also provides a safe and sanitary work environment for employees.

The office features a variety of work settings – a balance of collaborative and private spaces – from which employees can self-select. The office has several unique features including a staircase with stadium-type seating, a living moss wall, and Liquid Galaxy, a technology platform to showcase properties anywhere in the world.
