OXFORD, MA—A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at 343 Main Street in Oxford on to mark the opening of Webster Five’s newly renovated Oxford branch.
In addition to Webster Five employees and the chairman of the board of directors, in attendance were town officials as well as members of the Oxford Historical Society and Webster Dudley Oxford Chamber of Commerce and people involved with the construction project.
The ceremony served as a kickoff to grand-opening events for the community, to be held during a four-day celebration beginning Feb. 14. There will be entertainment, refreshments and drawings for great prizes for everyone who visits the Oxford branch from Wednesday, Feb. 14 to Saturday, Feb. 17.
While most banks are closing their doors, Webster Five demonstrates its commitment to community by investing in the Oxford branch to improve the overall customer experience. The space has been enhanced to a modern design with innovative technologies that will make the in-branch experience more enjoyable and even more convenient and efficient. The location continues to offer the same products and friendly service, and still features a drive-through teller, drive-up ATM and walk-up ATM. After seven months of renovations, completed in two phases in order to keep the branch open to customers, Webster Five is excited to share this new way of banking with the community.
“The unique design elements and the added conveniences will help create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere for our customers. We’re delighted to provide a more comfortable, convenient place to interact with our team and learn about Webster Five’s full range of financial products,” says Don Doyle, president and CEO of Webster Five.
