BOSTON— WS Development announced that WeWork will open a new office space in Boston’s Seaport district this Winter, 2018.
Quickly emerging as one of the most exciting professional hubs in the country, the Seaport now boasts some of the country’s leading companies, making WeWork the perfect addition to the growing innovation hub. The One Seaport office will mark WeWork’s tenth location in Boston; it will be located at 77 Sleeper Street Boston, MA 02210; www.bostonseaport.xyz; www.wework.com/buildings/one-seaport–boston–MA
“In the last year, the Seaport has reached a tipping point, becoming a magnet for tech and innovation companies. WeWork One Seaport will not only bring one of the world’s most interesting companies to the district, but it will also greatly enhance the neighborhood’s ecosystem, attracting diverse entrepreneurial businesses of all shapes and sizes. Its location within this development adds a whole new dimension to a collection buildings that are already home to some of the most powerful brands and concepts the city has to offer,” said Todd Norley, Vice President of Leasing at WS Development.
“The Seaport District has emerged as an innovation hub for businesses in Boston and our newest space will be an amazing addition to our Boston portfolio. With One Seaport, WeWork members will have access to a wealth of amenities that are developing in the area including retail, dining and residential options,” said Dave McLaughlin, GM of the Northeast, WeWork.
WeWork One Seaport will offer a private main entrance at street level and 580 desks across its second floor; members will have direct access to parking in a brand new garage that provides EV charging stations and to the MBTA Silver Line (SL1 and SL2) on the Courthouse stop. Its opening will mark the first and only office space within the prestigious One Seaport, the largest project in the City of Boston in more than 30 years. Here, it will be surrounded by robust retail and dining options, including ShowPlace ICON, Peter Millar, Equinox, Outdoor Voices, and Mr. Sid, as well as positioned beneath 832 residences, The Benjamin and VIA.
WeWork opened its first location in Boston at 745 Atlantic Avenue in 2014. WeWork currently has more than 7,000 members in Boston and Cambridge throughout six locations, spanning the neighborhoods of Fort Point, Downtown, Back Bay, North Station and Central Square.
