BOSTON – DPS Group, a privately-owned, global engineering, procurement, construction management and validation (EPCMV) firm serving high-tech process industries, announced that Werner Greyling has joined the firm as senior vice president, U.S. project operations, in the firm’s Albany, New York office.
In this new role, Werner will lead its strategic direction and growth, with a focus on pursuing new markets, driving project execution improvements, and developing a strong results-driven culture.
Serving high-tech industries around the world, DPS designs and builds facilities that turn scientific innovations into life-saving and life-enhancing products. The firm delivers full service engineering across a range of disciplines, including project management, procurement, design, construction management, health and safety management, commissioning, qualification and facility start-up.
In 2015, DPS opened its Albany office with a focus on the advanced technology, micro-electronics, semi-conductor, and life-sciences industries. Werner will be tasked with creating a strong foundation to foster growth in the firm’s current markets and expand into the data center and mission critical facility sector.
“As one of the most recognizable names in the engineering and construction of advanced facilities, Werner is an accomplished leader and a skilled strategist with an impressive track record of delivering large complex projects,” said Aidan O’Dwyer, president of U.S. project operations at DPS. “We are confident Werner’s leadership skills and strong business acumen will grow our Albany office into the pre-eminent firm serving the microelectronics, semi-conductor, and life sciences industries in the New York region and beyond. We are very fortunate to add Werner to the DPS senior management team.”
Werner brings more than 20 years of industry experience to his new role at DPS, including the successful completion of nearly $3.5 billion in projects in the past six years alone. His extensive project portfolio ranges from advanced technology facilities, pharmaceutical projects, and manufacturing facilities, to utility and office buildings and general construction projects for high-profile, multi-national companies across the United States, Asia and Europe.
“I am thrilled to join DPS in a capacity that allows me to significantly contribute to the company’s overall growth and expansion into new markets,” said Werner. “Throughout my career, I have learned that the key to success is people. At DPS, I look forward to building a high-performing team and an enjoyable and supportive work environment that enables us to provide exceptional results for our clients.”
