WALTHAM, MA– Vantage Builders, Inc., a general contracting, construction management and design-build firm based in Waltham, Mass., announced the promotion of Kelly MacLean to Chief Operating Officer.
In her new role, Ms. MacLean is responsible for developing, implementing and improving the firm’s operational efficiency, cost control management, safety and internal procedures. She reports to the firm’s principals, Ed Silva and John Connor.
“Kelly has been a tremendous asset to both Vantage Builders and to our clients, since joining the firm in 2016,” said Silva. “Her operational, management and organizational skills have helped the firm increase its efficiency and streamline its procedures during a period of high growth and market expansion. Ms. MacLean joined Vantage Builders in 2016 as Director of Operations. She has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, directing operations, overseeing complex, multi-million dollar projects and managing cross-functional teams. Prior to joining Vantage Builders, she was a chief operating officer for Liberty Construction, establishing the firm’s West Coast division. Previously she was the vice president of construction and development at O’Neill Properties and the director of operations at Drywall, Ltd.
Ms. MacLean earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Emmanuel College, where she was named a Presidential Scholar. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction and a LEED Green Associate.
