Marlborough, MA – Universal Window and Door, a manufacturer of custom window solutions for commercial construction projects, announced the appointment of Andrew J. Dudka to Vice President of Operations, effective immediately.
Dudka brings 30 years of operational and management experience in manufacturing environments for a number of global firms, including Thermo Electron/Fisher Scientific, Teradyne Connection Systems, and Hayward Industries.
Dudka comes to Universal from The Brickle Group, a privately-held, multi-site contract manufacturer of high tech textiles for the petroleum, industrial and automotive markets. In his role of Senior Director of Operations at Brickle, Dudka drove his division to record profits in just three years by integrating the ERP and inventory management systems, implementing a comprehensive reorganization, and the introduction and application of lean manufacturing principles. His manufacturing experience includes stints within the textile, medical device, high-tech, capital equipment and consumer electronics industries.

Dudka holds an MBA in Finance & Operations from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He will be responsible for overseeing all facets of operations for Universal, reporting directly to Tony Muraco. (IANS)
