Watertown, MA — Triveni Bio has signed a lease for the top floor of 100 Forge Road, a major life sciences building at Arsenal Yards, further strengthening Watertown’s growing biotech cluster, according to a report by the Boston Business Journal (BBJ).
BBJ reported that Triveni will occupy the ninth floor of the nine-story, 165,600-square-foot building developed by Boylston Properties. Each floor spans roughly 18,000 to 20,000 square feet.
The move places Triveni alongside several established biotech tenants at 100 Forge, including Mariana Oncology, Vigil Neuroscience, and Remix Therapeutics, BBJ reported.
According to the BBJ report, some of those tenants have recently been involved in major acquisitions. Mariana Oncology was acquired in a $1 billion deal by Novartis, while Vigil Neuroscience was acquired by Sanofi in a transaction valued at approximately $470 million. Despite those deals, both companies have maintained or expanded their presence in the area.
Boylston Properties still has available space on the second and eighth floors of the building, BBJ reported.
The lease comes as Watertown continues to emerge as a key life sciences hub in Greater Boston. According to BBJ, the city recorded 11 new life sciences leases in 2025, tying Boston and trailing only Cambridge in leasing activity. Nearby developments, including 66 Galen Street, are nearing full occupancy with tenants such as LabShares and NanoDx.
Triveni Bio, currently based elsewhere in Watertown, plans to relocate to 100 Forge as part of its growth strategy, BBJ reported. The company has raised more than $200 million in funding, including a $115 million Series B round and a $92 million Series A round.
Led by CEO Vishal Patel, the clinical-stage biotech focuses on developing treatments for immune and inflammatory diseases. Its lead program targets atopic dermatitis, commonly known as eczema.
Industry observers say the deal reflects continued demand for high-quality lab space among well-funded biotech firms, even amid broader market headwinds—a trend highlighted in the BBJ report.
